Switch from Zenchef to Job in 5 minutes — here's how

Switching doesn't have to be scary

The biggest fear when changing reservation systems: "What if I lose my guests?" or "What if reservations disappear?" Understandable. That's why we've made the switch as simple as possible.

Everything is imported automatically. Your guests notice nothing. You notice everything.

Step 1: Create an account

Go to heyjob.nl and create a free account. Enter your restaurant name. Job automatically fetches your logo, colors and brand voice from your website — no manual input needed.

Step 2: Connect Zenchef

In the dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations. Choose "Zenchef" and enter your API token and Restaurant ID. Job tests the connection and shows which restaurant was found.

Step 3: Import

Click "Start import". Job now automatically fetches:

• Guests — all guest profiles with contact details, preferences and visit history
• Reservations — all existing and future bookings, including special requests
• Tables — your complete table layout with capacities
• Floor plan — the visual layout of your restaurant
• Shifts — your service times and opening hours
• Reviews — all guest reviews
• Settings — your policies, cancellation rules, etc.

The import takes 2-3 minutes on average. You see a progress bar showing exactly what's being transferred.

Step 4: Verify

After the import you see a summary: how many guests, reservations, tables and reviews were transferred. Walk through your reservations for the coming week — everything should be there 1-to-1.

Step 5: Place the widget

Replace the Zenchef widget on your website with the Job widget. You get an embed code or JavaScript SDK to paste into your website. From now on, new reservations come in through Job.

You're not locked in. Cancel monthly, no notice period. During the 2 free months you can test Job while keeping Zenchef running. You only switch when you're ready.
